Securitize shares climbed approximately 10% on Thursday after the digital asset firm officially launched tokenized versions of major United States stocks on the Solana blockchain. The new product offering is designed to give eligible investors direct exposure to prominent equities backed fully by underlying shares, complete with traditional shareholder benefits such as dividend payouts and voting rights.
The initiative, branded as Securitize Stocks, introduces tokenized equities of global giants including Apple, Nvidia, Microsoft, Tesla, and eight other prominent US-listed corporations. According to the company’s official announcement on Thursday, these digital tokens are backed on a strict one-for-one basis by the underlying traditional shares. Initially, trading for these assets will take place during extended market hours via Securitize’s registered broker-dealer platform.
Securitize emphasized that the newly issued tokens legally represent security entitlements under Article 8 of the Uniform Commercial Code. This legal structuring ensures that token holders preserve their applicable shareholder benefits, including the receipt of dividends and participation in corporate voting. Furthermore, the company outlined plans to expand the availability of these assets by integrating them into tokenized securities platforms currently under development by the New York Stock Exchange and OKXICE, though neither exchange has publicly committed to a specific launch date at this time.

To ensure robust market efficiency and price stability, the tokens will settle in USDC on the Solana network. Prominent quantitative trading firm Jump Trading is slated to provide essential liquidity by acting as a market maker for the offering. While trading will initially be restricted to extended market hours, Securitize has indicated that it harbors long-term plans to transition toward continuous 24/7 trading, though a definitive timeline for this expansion has not yet been finalized.
Beyond immediate spot trading, the company is actively exploring broader utility cases for tokenized equities within the broader digital asset ecosystem. According to Securitize, Ripple Prime intends to support the initial launch and is currently evaluating ways to incorporate these tokenized assets into its suite of institutional trading services. Additionally, the decentralized lending platform Aave has been identified as a potential venue where users could leverage the tokenized stocks as collateral for loans. Ripple Prime did not immediately respond to requests for additional details regarding their participation by the time of publication.
Securitize Shares Rally Twice in One Week
Thursday’s market movement marked the second significant intraday price surge for Securitize shares within a single week. The company’s stock previously jumped nearly 8% during early trading on Tuesday, following the announcement of a strategic partnership with South Korean technology conglomerate LG CNS. That collaboration aims to explore the issuance and integration of tokenized funds, equities, and stablecoins tailored specifically for institutional financial entities.

The agreement in South Korea also encompasses the development of critical financial infrastructure designed to seamlessly connect local financial institutions with international capital markets. This ongoing international expansion follows a memorandum of understanding signed in September with Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority, which is intended to support fully regulated tokenization initiatives across the emirate. Supported by these successive strategic milestones, Securitize shares have recorded an impressive gain of roughly 54% over the past month, according to market data provided by Yahoo Finance.
This corporate growth unfolds against the backdrop of a broader, sustained expansion in the tokenized real-world asset sector. Comprehensive data compiled by RWA.xyz indicates that the total value of distributed assets—excluding stablecoins—reached $38.88 billion as of Thursday, marking a substantial increase from the $25.36 billion recorded exactly one year prior. As traditional financial institutions and blockchain infrastructure providers continue to converge, offerings like Securitize Stocks highlight the accelerating pace at which traditional equity markets are finding representation on distributed ledger networks.
