Corporate Ether Treasuries Surge Past $13 Billion as ETH Crosses $4,300

The total volume of Ether held in corporate treasuries worldwide has expanded significantly, climbing to an impressive 3.04 million ETH with an estimated market value of $13 billion. This milestone coincides with a robust market rally that has pushed the price of the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency past the $4,300 threshold.

According to market tracking data from CoinGecko, Ether (ETH) reached a peak of $4,332 on Monday, marking a substantial 20.4% surge over a seven-day period. Although the asset experienced a slight retracement shortly thereafter, stabilizing around the $2,290 to $4,300 range at the time of writing, the overarching bullish momentum has been heavily catalyzed by aggressive accumulation strategies from major corporate entities over the past month.

Leading the charge in this corporate crypto accumulation wave is BitMine Immersion Technologies, which currently occupies the top spot among public and private ETH treasury holders. Over the past 30 days, the company aggressively expanded its digital asset reserves, boosting its holdings to a staggering 833,100 ETH—representing an extraordinary 410.68% increase in the amount of Ether it holds compared to the previous month.

Close behind in second place is digital asset investment firm SharpLink Gaming, which reported holding 521,900 ETH after expanding its corporate treasury by 141.69% over the same timeframe. Meanwhile, institutional player The Ether Machine steadily grew its digital asset stack by 8.01%, bringing its total holdings to 345,400 ETH.

These three dominant entities alone account for more than half of the total Ether locked inside the treasuries of the top 10 corporate holders. Collectively, the top 10 ETH-holding companies control roughly 2.63 million ETH, representing approximately 2.63% of the asset’s entire circulating supply.

The dramatic price appreciation observed over the past week has exponentially elevated the nominal value of these corporate cryptocurrency reserves, driving total valuations into uncharted territory.

Earlier in the month, BitMine made headlines by executing a massive purchase of 208,137 ETH, which brought its cumulative balance to 833,100 ETH. At the time of that transaction, when Ether was hovering around the $3,700 mark, the acquired assets were valued at approximately $2.9 billion. With market prices surging past $4,300, BitMine’s total holdings have swelled in value to over $3.58 billion, officially cementing its status as the first corporation to hold more than $3 billion worth of Ether on its balance sheet.

Similarly, SharpLink Gaming aggressively augmented its digital asset portfolio, expanding its holdings to 521,900 ETH following a strategic purchase of 83,562 ETH. When the transaction was originally executed, SharpLink’s total reserves were valued at approximately $1.91 billion. Following the subsequent market surge past $4,300, the company’s treasury valuation has climbed past $2.23 billion.

Data compiled by the specialized ETH treasury tracking platform Strategic ETH Reserve (SER) reveals that SharpLink Gaming currently sits on more than $671 million in unrealized gains from its Ether investments, illustrating the high profitability of corporate crypto allocation strategies during bullish market cycles.

Corporate accumulation has continued at a steady pace across other major entities as well. On August 3, coinciding with the milestone tenth anniversary of the Ethereum network, The Ether Machine completed a significant acquisition of 15,000 ETH. According to updated metrics from Strategic ETH Reserve, the firm added an additional 10,600 ETH to its corporate treasury over the subsequent weekend. This brings its total inventory to 345,362 ETH, valued at nearly $1.5 billion, comfortably securing its position among the top three corporate holders worldwide.

While mega-purchases by industry giants dominate total volume metrics, smaller corporate allocations continued to trickle into the market over the course of the week. Hong Kong-listed IVD Medical executed a notable purchase facilitated through the HashKey exchange, acquiring HK$149 million—equivalent to approximately $19 million—worth of ETH. While the exact quantity of tokens acquired in this specific over-the-counter transaction was not publicly disclosed, the move underscores the growing institutional appetite for digital asset integration across Asian financial markets.

Aggregated data from the Strategic ETH Reserve tracker indicates that across 64 distinct corporate treasury entities holding the asset, total reserves have reached 3.04 million ETH. At current spot prices, this institutional reserve pool is valued at in excess of $13 billion, highlighting a profound shift in corporate finance where digital assets are increasingly utilized as foundational balance sheet reserves.
